SCOPE AND GENERAL PURPOSE
The Sassoon Leader's responsibility is to provide professional leadership and education for the development of all ECA Instructors in the Sassoon method of haircutting. They are responsible for attending yearly updated Sassoon Academy School Connection Instruction and on going training of the ECA team in their methods.

- Passionate for the Fashion and Beauty industry
- Licensed stylists (Red Seal)
- Exceptional technical skills in precision haircutting/styling.
- Sassoon Academy School Connection Certified
- Exceptional organization skills, and attention to detail
- Work style is purposeful, focused and budget conscious
- Confident leader with the ability to motivate others
- Ability to make decisive, timely, fair and unemotional decisions
- Effective communicator both verbally and in writing
- Comfortable presenting in front of an audience
- Dedicated to ECA culture and brand.
- Able to travel as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Sassoon Liaison
- Communication with Sassoon in relation to technical teaching methods.
- Take part in monthly Sassoon Academy School Connection Conference calls.
- Consult on curriculum pertaining to Sassoon content.
TRAINING and STANDARD REINFORCEMENT
- Ensure consistency and quality of instruction of Sassoon requirements.
- Evaluate performance (technical and instructional) of Sassoon content.
- Recognize, address, and re-train employees with technical or instructional challenges and create development plans.
- Deliver Sassoon technical and teaching technique classes.
- Travel as needed to all Academies, conferences and educational courses/shows.
OTHER
- Represent and Reinforce CORE VALUES, and is an ambassador inside and outside of the workplace.
- Acts as a spokesperson for the organization's educational purpose via speaking engagements, public and social appearances, and, as requested, at fundraising events and solicitations.
- Work closely with the Academy Director, and Academy Manager to achieve financial and brand goals.
- Adopt all Instructor responsibilities, when working as an Instructor with students and clients.
