EvelineCharles Salons and Spas is committed to supporting the health of our community through direct support of charitable organizations.
EvelineCharles knows the importance of giving back to the community. Over the years Eveline herself has actively participated on boards and committees of several Edmonton charities and her company has donated over $125,000 to charity in the last several years as well as hundreds of volunteer hours.
In 2007 Eveline supported the Youth Emergency Shelter and Junior Achievement of Alberta at a financial and volunteer level. Eveline has brought her philanthropic drive into the Academy and students of the Academy so that they can also learn the importance of giving back to the community. Students have shaved heads in support of cops for cancer along with waxing chests and legs also as a cancer fundraiser. Students also provide services to charitable foundation staff as a thank you for their commitment to charity. The school also participates with hair cuts, facials, manicures and pedicures for some charitable recipients. The students get very excited about events and one major highlight of the past year was providing haircuts for young girls before they started school in September as part of our support for Big Sisters.
Most recently, EC Academy hair and esthetics students were to thrilled to participate in the 2009 and 2010 Hair Massacure. Hair Massacure is an event inspired by Kali, a cancer survivor who is passionate about helping those with cancer. Since 2003, over $3,640,000 has been raised for Edmonton and Northern Alberta. TO APPLY FOR A DONATION
Who is eligible to receive charitable donations?
To be considered eligible for a contribution, the charity or non-profit organization must be registered and be raising funds directly for their organization. The donation request must be submitted to the Donations Committee a minimum 6 weeks before the event to be eligible for consideration.
Want to Apply?
For consideration for a donation, interested organizations should submit a written proposal with all pertinent contact information two months prior to the date of event. Proposals should be addressed to Donations Committee and can be emailed faxed or mailed.
