EvelineCharles Salons and Spas is committed to supporting the health of our community through direct support of charitable organizations.

EvelineCharles Salons and Spas is proud to support the Youth Emergency Shelter Society (YESS) and their “Homeless for a Night” annual event. In June 2006, $25,000 was raised by Eveline and her staff and donated to YESS at the event. In June 2005, $10,000 was donated to the Youth Emergency Shelter at the same event. Eveline has committed her time and resources to chair this event again in 2007.

Other organizations that the company supports include Canadian Cancer Society, Stollery Children’s Hospital, Canadian Diabetes Association, United Way and Unicef. Eveline was a founding member of the Board of Directors for the Compassion House Foundation – a sanctuary, a place of understanding where breast cancer patients receive support during diagnosis, treatment and recovery. Eveline was instrumental in helping the capital campaign reach the initial $2.5 million dollar goal necessary for the house. From the inception of Compassion House Eveline Charles has donated support both financially and in kind.

Eveline Charles is a past Board Member of Compassion House and has been instrumental in supporting the House from its inception to its ongoing operations. EvelineCharles has donated over $75, 000.

Who is eligible to receive charitable donations?
To be considered eligible for a contribution, the charity or non-profit organization must be registered and be raising funds directly for their organization.

The donation request must be submitted to the Donations Committee a minimum 6 weeks before the event to be eligible for consideration.

For consideration for a donation, interested organizations should submit a written proposal with all pertinent contact information two months prior to the date of event. Proposals should be addressed to Donations Committee and can be emailed faxed or mailed.
