EC Community: Wearable Art Fashion Show at The Core

Calgary's only downtown shopping centre presents a Wearable Art Fashion Show on April 28th, 2011
EvelineCharles Salons|Spas and EvelineCharles Academy are now open at the CORE. Neighbour to Holt Renfrew, H&M and the new food court, the new wing is home to amenities that define high-end, luxury, and style. Book in for your service today and come check out the beautiful new EC location.
As part of its multimillion-dollar renovations, the CORE has opened a brand new food court, which includes a variety of new downtown food vendors, and a groundbreaking new food court E-lert system. To celebrate the opening of the newly renovated wing and one of the greatest downtown lunchtime hot spots, the CORE presents the Wearable Art Fashion show - a look at cuisine from a couture point of view.
Seven designers have been hand selected to design one of a kind fashion creations made completely from the every day materials made available from the vendors at the CORE's food court as well as spring fashions styled by Carl Abad with hair and makeup by the EvelineCharles Creative team. Adejoke, from the popular reality television show Project Runway Canada, will also be a part of the innovative design team as well as two local CORE designers.
