What is Ombre?
The term "ombre" literally means gradation - the fading of one colour into another.  It is typically characterized by hair colour that is two-toned: dark roots that transform into a lighter tone at the mid-shaft and ends.  It gives hair a sun-kissed look that is easy to maintain because roots can grow out and add to the look's impact.

Countless celebrities have flaunted their versions of ombre since it gained popularity in 2010.
