Twas the Night at the CORE
The evening of November 30, 2011, at The CORE shopping centre, was an exciting occasion for EvelineCharles professional salon & spa staff and Academy students. The 'Twas the Night event which hosted nearly 7,500 Calgarians, was an opportunity for the brand to showcase their stuff through mini-services, personalized beauty consultations, tours of their state-of-the-art facilities, special service and retail promotions, product samples and more! The event also included a red carpet hosted by Lainey Lui of LaineyGossip.com, the unveiling of The CORE's 40-foot illuminated Christmas tree, sampling of holiday-inspired beverages and cuisine and other brilliant one-night only offers from The CORE retailers.
It was particularly exciting for EvelineCharles as they were pleased to have had chance to accommodate one of the night's entertainers, Chantal Kraviazuk, the Juno Award winning Canadian singer/songwriter with on-location hair and beauty services and host her team in a green room in the Academy, fourth floor of The CORE shopping centre! Creative Team member, Angela Steele was invited to be on-set to help prepare the singer for her HBO documentary shoot at the National Music Centre in Calgary and then again with the help of EC Esthetician Megan Hanby, the pair was backstage preparing Chantal for her 'Twas the Night performance. With the combination of dress by well-known local designer, Paul Hardy and hair and makeup, Chantal's features were brilliantly highlighted and sparkling on stage!
Congratulations to the entire event committee for organizing a high-end event raising close to $40,000 for United Way's "BeCause" initiative and the National Music Centre.
