Ever wonder what it would be like to be a member of The EvelineCharles Elite?

I have had the honour of being part of the very first six members chosen.
What is EC Elite?
It's a group of students, who have amazing abilities both creatively and technically, as well as a positive attitude, great energy and attendance, and a passion for the industry.
 
Each and every person has a fair chance of being chosen. The process consists of a letter, an interview, and a presentation shown to the entire academy. A vote is then placed by students and staff who in part have a say. Ultimately the decision comes down to a board of teachers and the administrative team. If chosen it comes with plenty of hard work and many fantastic rewards.
 
During my time as a member I have got to plan and run a full high school symposium. It consisted of coming up with a theme, finding models, achieving the desired looks through cuts and colors, gathering music to accompany the show, and creating a movie presentation. All the while putting in tons of hours on top of going to school and working on the side.
 
Not only is being able to say you're a member of The EvelineCharles Elite six an amazing accomplishment you also get a free day a month in which you can take off or receive hours for.
 
Now that I'm graduating and venturing into the world of hairstyling I have come to realize how privileged I truly have been here at the academy. I encourage each and every cosmetology and esthetic student who attend ECA to take part in all EC Elite has to offer.
