How To Diffuse Curly Hair - by Samantha Reesor- Cosmetology Student

| Many people with curly hair don't like to wear their hair curly. I believe this is because they have never been shown how to diffuse it properly. Many people with curly hair will simply scrunch their hair when blow drying it, and are generally not happy with the results. Sassoon has created yet another innovation; a way to diffuse curly hair without frizz, flyaway and crunchy hair. In order to diffuse curly hair just follow these 3 simple steps: |

1) After detangling hair and adding curl enhancing product ( I like using our EC Surfer Spray, it's a great texturizer and brings out the hair's natural curl) separate the hair taking a section from ear to ear and clip top half away.

| 2) Taking random pieces about the size of a quarter, simply twist the hair around your finger until you have twisted the whole strand. Continue this step for the whole head (if using the surfer spray, I would spray the whole head again once all the hair is twisted) |

3) Add your diffuser attachment to your blow dryer, lean head to either the right or the left so hair is hanging. Carefully place hair into the head of the diffuser until it is touching your head. Continue this step for the whole head until your hair is 100% dry. Try not to touch the hair too much as it will create frizziness.

To finish the look, add a spray shine (Our EC Organza is amazing for controlling any frizz that may have occurred while diffusing) to finish and you have beautiful, shiny, frizz-free curls!
