Students go backstage Slave Lake Benefit Concert to make up some of country music's finest stars!
On Wednesday, June 15, a benefit concert was held at the River Cree Casino which raised more than $150,000 for the Canadain Red Cross to help people who lost their homes in the Slave Lake wildfire. One-third of the town was destroyed when the fire ripped through the northern Alberta town on May 15.
EvelineCharles is pleased to have taken part by having one Cosmetology Student and four Esthetics Students give back by doing all of the hair and makeup for some of Canada's biggest country music stars! The sold-out benefit concert featured Tom Jackson, George Canyon, Johnny Reid, One More Girl and other performers and was broadcast later on CBC Radio and Television.
