EC Challenged My Creative Mind

During my experience at EC I have come across many opportunities to showcase what I am capable of. My best memory though, is the High School Symposium. Each student that volunteered got a model and a photo of what exactly we were supposed to execute. The model chosen for me was one of my friends Ainsley and the photo consisted of a side swept updo. Although the updo was beautiful, Ainsley would need extensions but they were unavailable to us. After talking to my instructor she decided to just let me do my own thing. Knowing my instructor had the confidence in me gave me an extra boost to execute the vision I had in my head. Once I finished curling and pinning, I stepped back and the outcome turned out better than I thought it would. My instructor also thought it was beautiful.
A couple of hours later the symposium was about to begin. Ainsley had her gown on, make-up done and was waiting in the back with the other models. I did the last touch ups and spray of Organza, then went and sat in the audience with the other EC students and the multiple high schools that came to watch. The music started and the models began to walk down the runway. Seeing my work on that stage and looking around seeing people enjoy my work and take pictures was the best feeling in the world. That exact moment will stay with me through my entire career.
