EvelineCharles Academy Students are Top Contestants in North American wide Sassoon Academy School Connection Competition

Rarely is Alberta labelled as a trendsetting destination in the International hairstyling world. Cosmetology students at the EvelineCharles Academy are changing that perception by captivating international attention. The students have proudly put Edmonton on the map by placing in two of the top 10 spots in the third annual prestigious Sassoon Academy School Connection hair cut and color competition.

The students travelled to Long Beach, CA for the reveal of competition results, announced January 30, 2011 at the International Salon and Spa Expo. Katelyn Girardin and Miranda Stewart of EvelineCharles Academy were among the top 10 finalists for the North America wide competition. We are pleased to announce Miranda Stewart placed second in the Sassoon Academy School Connection competition. As a recent graduate of the cosmetology program at EvelineCharles Academy this was a perfect reward for all of her hard work. Miranda won a 5 day course with Sassoon in Santa Monica as well as $500 in Wella products.
