EC Academy Student Testimonial

 I chose to attend EvelineCharles Academy for many reasons: the reputation, the cutting techniques of Sassoon, the clean and modern salon atmosphere, but most of all I chose ECA for the 3 day Cosmetology Program.  I saw this as a way to escape the "9-5" routine as well as the opportunity to work in a salon to gain experience on my alternate days.  This proved to be more advantageous then I first thought.

While working as an apprentice, I have experienced first hand the fast pace of a successful salon.  I have built relationships with other stylists and have learned from their experiences and expanded my own knowledge and education.  I have worked with additional color lines and products which has given me a greater understanding and strengthened my ability and skills.

While working in a salon and attending the EvelineCharles Academy I will have accumulated half of my required hours to be a licensed stylist.  Four months after graduation I will be eligible to write my Red Seal examination.

Because of the EvelineCharles Academy 3-day Cosmetology Program, I have had the opportunity to expand my knowledge of the industry, receive hands on experience, learn new techniques, and build client relationships.  I have also been able to showcase my work ethics and have proved to be a team player and hard worker that I have no doubts of being hired as a full time stylist upon graduation.
