Epilepsy affects over 50 million people worldwide or approximately 1 in 100 people.

EC Academy Students get a break from their all black dress code on March 25th and 26th: Promote Epilepsy awareness by wearing purple colored accesories to support the Global day of Epilepsy on March 26, 2011.

Western Canada Fashion Week (WCFW) kicks off tomorrow at the Trans Alta Arts Barns and runs until March 31st. Founded to support local culture, fashion, art and design; it's the perfect opportunity for makeup artists, hairstylists, designers, models and photographers to collaborate and strengthen the art community in Edmonton.

Oscar winner Natalie Portman in beautiful plum colored Rodarte gown with Tiffany & Co. Jewels and Jimmy Choo shoes. 

The biggest night in Hollywood is all about sophisticated glamour. Shades of red and purple were popular colors at the Oscars this year. Many gowns were detailed in lace or adorned with delicate beading, in silver and pearl tones. Hair was styled in loose brushed out curls or sleek and pinned back; most celebrities wore subdued makeup, leaving embellished evening dresses as the main focus.
