Scope and General Purpose	The Salon Artistic Director will be in charge of upholding the prestige of the EvelineCharles brand that has one of the most recognised names in hairdressing in Canada. EvelineCharles is famed for creating seasonal fashion collections and exceeding client expectations through executing precision cuts and colours.

Required Skills and Attributes	Passionate for the Fashion and Beauty industry Exceptional technical skills with 10 years or more of precision cutting and coloring experience Photoshoot experience; direct interaction with photographer and model guidance Exceptional organization skills, and attention to detail Confident leader with the ability to influence others Comfortable presenting in front of a large audience Effective verbal and written communication skills
Creative Responsibilities	Researches new technology and techniques, introduces new services, products and treatments. Responsible for conceiving, developing, and implementing the artistic vision. Communicates direction and leads artistic team through the process of studying fashion and collecting trend predictions. Lead photo-shoot for spring and fall collections, directing the photographer and guiding models, to ensure that every look is captured.
Leadership Responsibilities	Setting and raising the quality of technical and guest service standards delivered in salons. Create a development plan for each stylist and colorist to reach technical and professional goals. To push the boundaries of hair design by inspiring creativity and artistry Prepare and deliver the technical, guest service, and product knowledge classes to the artistic team (including head sheets/diagrams/step by step), and arrange for classes in all locations (demonstration and hands-on classes) Represent and reinforce CORE VALUES, and is an ambassador inside and outside of the workplace. Actively pursue and recruit new artists on benefits of working for EvelineCharles. Acts as a spokesperson for the organization's artistic purpose via speaking engagements, public and social appearances, and, as requested, at fundraising events and solicitations.
