WHAT'S HOT FOR FALL 2009

80's GIRL.
The 80's are back in a big way!  Not only has this era influenced the current fashion trends but now makeup is starting to cycle there too.  Across the runways this season were vibrant jewel toned shadows (pinks, greens, purples and blues). When dealing with such vibrant colors, try to keep the rest of your look minimal by finishing it off with shiny rosy cheeks and glossed lips. To give edge to a more 80's style you can create a smoky eye with Blues, and then blend in grays and blacks for contour. Try these to complete your look: Butterfly, Sago Palm, Remix or Oxygen for shadows. Utilize our Angelica powder to highlight you cheek bones and a light pink blush such as Petals or Diva.

20's FLAPPERS STYLE.
This look is transferable from day to evening and adds a sophisticated touch to any style. Apply mascara on both top and bottom lashes to create an innocent doe eye, lightly rim your lash line with black to make your eyes pop then finish the look with a pursed matte red lip. Use our professional formula mascara and liquid liner to accomplish this look. Try a true red on the lips such as, Marilyn or Kimono.

BLACK SHADOW.
Dark layered shades of black are a top trend for the eyes this season. Start with black and dark grey colors, but ensure that all shades are in a matte finish - this look is not to create shine or glamour, it is to create edge.  The shadow can be pulled out in a cat eye fashion for a more sophisticated look or kept within the lid for a dark trendier look. You can also line around the eyes for dramatic effect.

BOLD BROWS.
Strong defined brows stayed on the runways this season.  Perfectly arched brows brighten your eyes and frame your face.  Allow a brow-expert to shape your brow tailored specific to your eye and face shape.

LASHES.
Thick, long and luxurious lashes are just what the season is calling for.  Use a professional mascara to add volume and length to your lashes or spice up your look with bejewelled and feathered lashes which are being seen all over the runways. 

SKIN.
Beautiful skin is always a must, but with the season change, it's hard to adjust to a new routine.  Visit a salon for a complete skin assessment to ensure you are using the correct products for your skin type. In the upcoming chilly seasons switch to an intense moisturizing lotion to ensure the weather doesn't dry your skin out. 

HAIR.
For us, Hair is an art form.  We like to change things up and keep shape with the short styles that are in for the fall season. Pack a trendy scarf to complete your look (and keep your neck warm).

TO BANG OR NOT TO BANG? That is the question!  No matter what look you are going for, we've got the bang for you! Blunt fringes add a very geometric clean line to your face, however, you can also get a more feminine look with a side sweep bang, this look can be done with both short and long bangs.
